One of our newer members

Having learned that Bill Jacobs has recently joined TF, I thought that I would give a little introduction He may already be known to many of you through his many articles published in Passagemaker, Wooden Boats, and a couple of sailing mags.

Bill has done some pretty amazing photography, and illustrates his articles. He has also done some great cover art

Bill lives in SW FL in the winter, and Door County Wisconsin on Green Bay in summers. You may see him sailing on Green Bay.

I have known Bill for several years, and in fact he was the second owner the the Pilot 34 I owned last. Here are just some of the pictures Bill has done He has an amazing collection of pictures of downeast work boats.

Here is a selection of photos that may be of interest. These are low resolution copies but would probably work.

Dan Dee / Grand Banks East Bay 38

Hunt 52 Seka II

Second Star / Krogen 42

Diva / DeFever 49 CPMY (Bill's boat prior to Caper the 34 Pilot)

Susan Lee / Mainship 390 (Bill's present boat in Florida.)
