Nice looking little boat. If you find info, please post it up. I can't find much.

It seems one is famous in that rediculous TV show Courtney Cox was in "Cougar Town".

The layout is OK. I would have to rig an inside helm.

Was considered the equal of Bertrams, one owner had both, called the Carter the "Rolls Royce" of its time. More pix attached. Will post more info soon

Carter Safari 28'

Hi
An update on the boat. Splashed it in Stockton, about 7 hrs by water from my home port, Sausalito where I intend to return at the end of Oct.
Doing odd stuff, getting a feel for the boat, waiting for my canvas guy to do a flybridge and cockpit bimini tan in color. Inside and upper helm.

Twin Volvo Penta AQAD30 A 4 cyl turbo diesels, 2300 hrs, with duo prop outdrives. I hit 23.6 knots with two of us on board, that is scooting. Nice speed for me is on plane around 2700 rpm at 13 knots...
Triple axle galvanized trailer, 7' 11" beam, a unique boat.
Cheers
Stuart

?? sideways photo was not attached like that, it was correct when attached

Nice looking boat. Don’t feel bad about the sideways photo, happens a lot.
