Bahamas

Hello everybody, I'm new here. Last year my dad bought a 31 Camano, that year me and him ( I'm his son and "captain") we traveled to the abaco's, which were going do again this June. After that I'm planning on doing the exumas, Long Island, cat island, etc. My dad is already talking about getting a Nordhavn 47. All that aside, does anyone have any recommended routes.? I have a lot of experience with boats myself, so mabye I should just take a night on the boat with the chart plotter, finding which routes are the best with fuel and depth?.

Here's a picture of here "Oliver's Twist" ( my names oliver)

These guys are tooling through the Bahamas right now and some of their posts include Argus data (depths) that is helpful. Enjoy.

It would be hard to recommend a route not knowing where you are starting from. I recommend Explorer Charts of the Bahamas and Steve Dodges cruising guide for Abaco.
