I talked with a senior official at BC Parks who confirmed that the Hakai Lúxvbálís Conservancy will reopen July 23. However share access to Fury Cove remains prohibited.

Looks pristine in there.

Last time we were down in that area it was on a 3 week holiday from work, so we had blinders on for Pruth Bay. We meandered back in the mainland inlets.

Next time, we'll poke our bow into areas such as this along the 'outside'...thanks for the heads-up :thumb:

Thanks Murray.

…shore access…not share access.

We are in Blunden. We think we will cross Caution on Sunday. Gail warning tomorrow.

There are some lovely spots there Murray. Swordfish Bay was beautiful.

We had to say goodbye to our much loved Jenny in June. Her spirit awaits us for a walk on West Beach.

Condolences about your friend.

Our 130lb pyrenees/lab cross is 13 now, retired from boating, and coasting to the finish line. We called him The Beach Master, because if he jumped from the dinghy onto a beach in a completely relaxed state, we knew there were no bears around.

He was a great hiking partner...he's retired from that as well. Miss him already and he's not gone yet...

Thanks Murray. Jenny was 15.5 years old. Kidneys were failing. She was a rescue dog from Topley, Turtle Gardens. Probably had 50 breeds in her.

13 years is very old for a dog of that size.
