1000 Islands Boat Yards

We are planning a trip through the Trent and Riddeau in September. We plan to go as far as we can or like and lay up until spring to resume our trip around the triangle through Lake Champlain and Eire Canal.

I am looking for options in the 1000 Islands area for storing our Grand Banks 36 over the winter in the event we decide to lay up the boat there. Any recommendations?

Ed Huck marina is the only one that comes to mind. Decent facility and located in Rockport, just east of Kingston.

Last year costs for a 381 Chris Craft including winterizing was around $1800. Nice people, but like all marinas you have to spell out exactly what you want. Jennifer is the mgr and runs a tight ship.
