If this is the same vessel you started looking at back in July, then it sounds like it might be ok. Important other things done already like the fuel tanks, so all are stainless, & sounds reassuring. If so, it might well be worth getting a proper survey now.

If the decks are suspect, as long as there is no sign of significant leakage into the inside, then you could perhaps have that fixed without too much cost..? It may mean the main deck has already had the old teak ripped up and replaced with fibreglass non-skid, like my boat had. If so, that's ok. The upper deck might just need the same treatment.
