Hi Martymar,
Yes, both of ours are sliders. As noted in a previous post, you can have them position the division point of the window in line with an existing bulkhead for aesthetic reasons.

42' aft cabin windows

Yes- you can have windows made to open.

We purchased windows from them last year. As they manufacture on site, they can customize pretty much anything.

Thanks for that just curious but since you just did it recently what was the cost for your windows?

Aft cabin dual sliders- windows are 8” high x 110” long (bottom edge of frame). Frame is powder coated aluminum, windows slightly smoked.

$520 each. Lead time 3 weeks.

Motion has measuring instructions on its site, or they will measure the actual window (we dropped ours off at their facility).

Aft windows on a 42

Thanks for your reply. Did you use the sealing tape from Peninsula or a 3M product? I'll be contacting Peninsula this week is it Eric you delt with? Also I believe your earlier post you said you ordered them from someone else's dimensions will they know exactly what I should be ordering when I tell them I have a Californian 42'. If I pull them out to trace them that means 3 more weeks with no windows in the aft stateroom:mad: Since I live aboard the less time the better. Thanks have a great day
