Settee Ideas

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for ideas and suggestions for a built-in settee on my 34LRC.

History: The PO took out the original and I want to replace with another built in. I'm in the planning stages and looking to start the build within a month.

The Goal: I would like to gain storage, still access the engine room under settee (if possible), and update interior a bit (curves instead of squares). Comfort and the ability to have a meal while seated would also be nice.

I have a blank canvas as earlier mentioned the PO tore out, put carpet on walls, and replaced the original settee with an Ikea futon/couch. Seating/backing cushions are not an issue since we have a commercial sewing machine and can sew anything. The crazier more unique the ideas and suggestions the better.

Interesting project. Increased storage could easily be had by simply lifting the whole settee onto a platform (with storage beneath, but the location of hatches would be critical in how large the platform could be.
