IG 36' by Jack Horner

Found this while surfing, an interesting read for IG owners in general.Note his prediction on used prices and his(erroneous) comments on the impervious nature of wet hardwood deck core not developing into an issue.

Great article not seen before, printed and filed.

Doriana has no aft cabin, just one cabin fwd with island bed, separate shower to stbd, head etc to port, both fwd (the "selfish couple" fitout). MarkH suggested this fit out may have been completed in Australia. The dinette converts to a double. The flat surface aft of the windscreen is in laminate rather than real wood, presumably to accommodate sun.

We have more respect for the sea-keeping quality of the design after our challenging run up to Broken Bay.
