Harvey & Nancy Halvorsen

My wife Renee & I had the honor of hosting Harvey & Nancy Halvorsen at our home today. We talked, had lunch on the Bay & toured SeaHorse II. To sit face to face with Harvey while he recounted the Halvorsen story was quite a treat. We agreed to do it again.

Wow!! That's a very special opportunity to enjoy the company of your boat's builder for an afternoon and a cruise. Glad to see he's feeling better and was up to a trip around your bay.

Too bad the weather was so crappy!

It would be a wonderful story to hear direct. Trygve Halvorsen`s death, well into his 90s, was reported here recently. The timber cruisers are a living monument to the family and their traditions. It is amazing that boats which served for 30 years or so in a now disbanded charter fleet, are so treasured by owners. The Halvorsens have good reason to be proud.
