Exclamation Warning! More unsolicited PM Spam

There aren't any Moderators on the forum at the moment. There is another PM spam with probably a virus link to the same location as a couple of days ago. Believe the PM was sent from user Flyguy1967.

Mine came from user craigj. We’re these real users that were hijacked or brand new?

Greetings,
Yep. Mr. FG touting emerald yachts as well...Looks like hacker(s) has found fertile ground on TF. I expect this may be the second of many to follow although I hope not.

I noticed a yacht broker advertising to me on private messaging. Someone or company I’ve never heard of. Spam is a pain. Hopefully it’s an isolated case.

From the look of the PM's I got here on TF and on CF, it would appear that accounts have been hijacked. The PM on CF was from Emerald Yachts and the date is getting changed in different PMs.

Well, someone might click on the link and it is almost a certainty that someone will. Then they get hacked. Just a question of numbers. Email X number of people and some percentage Y, however small, will click. Some number Z of those that click will be hacked. If X is large enough they will get lots of hacked systems and some of them will generate money for the hacker.

Please stop posting the copy of the PM you received with the embedded link. This could cause a problem for someone perusing this thread if they inadvertently click on your message.
