Recurring Personal Post Endings

I see a number of folks that every time they post there is a line and then some either personal information or favorite quote. I am guessing that this is a profile setting somewhere. I have read through a number of the threads on new accounts but can not seem to find where this gets set. Or are they just pasting it in every time? Example below:

Open the User CP ( control panel). It's in the upper left corner of every page.
There are tools to add and edit your personal info and signature.

I quoted myself...bad form?

Did a google search of it in quotation marks, and that combination of words is nowhere to be found, so I added my name to my signature and can claim it as mine for all time

Came up with it when our daughter was a toddler. If you have kids, you get it

Same sentiment, wrong word choice...in my opinion

My favorite is a quote from Albert Einstein: "If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't completely understand it yourself." It used to be at the bottom of all my posts here and in other forums...I removed it when several of the easily offended got all bent out of shape assuming I'd aimed specifically at them.

Please put it back or you aren't TF worthy. Don't let some intellectual shrimp determine how you are on a board. In the past two weeks here, two newbies signed up and requested advise, and is typical here there was no shortage of advice - good advise. But both couldn't take the heat in the sandbox and gathered their toys and left. Me being an idiot messaged one saying members were here to help out and indeed warn of financial traps of boats and boating. I got a rather colourful response about how to have sex with myself. Yet, here I still am.

It's still a part of my email signature. If declining to restore it here makes me "unworthy" to continue providing free information and advice to other TF members, weeeellllll...I've certainly enjoyed doing it for the past 11 years! Y'all know where to find me.

Interesting thread. And I, for one, appreciate Peggie's willingness to share her knowledge.

Peggy is my favorite Mistress.

Peggy, you have taught me a lot here and through your book. I had to make sure I had it in paper print to keep aboard. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Enjoying this

This reminds me, we really need a "Like" button. I know that the "Thumbs up" emoji and a "+1" in a reply does the same thing but, it seems like overkill and just expands the thread.

As for "Head Mistress", all the times she's taken abuse and come back with sound advice anyway, sometimes it's good to see her as a real human who can occasionally get fed up and hit back.

I "Like" this thread.

On a couple of other sites my tag line is "Success comes in cans!" but did not establish one here.
