Hi there,

I have put a TF member on 'ignore'.

If another member quotes that individual, the ignored members post appears as a quote in the third members post.

Is there any way to have the quotes of an 'ignored' member not appear to me in a third members posts?

Thanks for your time on this,

Murray

Ditto..:thumb:

I don't think that's possible, as the quoted text becomes part of the post it's shown in, just with formatting applied to make it visibly distinct. It's not a dynamic reference to the original post.

No. The quote is simply text with header data eg: <quote> </quote>

The ignore is tied to the actual poster, not the content. Otherwise, if you Ignored a user named 'Yadda Yadda', and someone typed yadda yadda in the body of the post, there would be no way to tell. text would start getting removed from posts.

You can actually ignore it. ;)

Put the "third member" on your ignore list too. If #3 respects #2 enough to quote her/him, she/he ought also to be on your ignore list.
(If you don't see this, I must be #2)
