Avatar won't upload

I have been trying to upload an avatar, but it won't - nothing shows up in the "upload status"* - the photo is only 130KB

Not using Safari are you?* I know in the early days of TF we had some Apple people that had better luck with Firefox.

I'm having the same problem, using IE 9.
