window removal/ replacements

I have a 1983 albin 36 and am thinking of replaceing the aft port and starboard cabin windows as they are leaking ...... any thoughts on how to remove the windows? and a company that would make replacement windows for the port and starboard sides.. thank yu

I tried to coax them out...no go.... so hammer, chisel and crowbar. Not pretty by fast compared to being kind.

Wynne Enterprises made me 16 windows for around $3500....the expensive ones were the hinged ones...the sliders weren't too bad.

They are in Tuscumbia, Alabama..... 256 383-5040.

They make large numbers of windows for RVS, school busses, etc...and some for boats. Not top of the line but nearly as good for less than half the price.
 
With the Canadian dollarette in the toilet you may do well buying windows in Canada.
This is the I've done with custom windows built by Bomon of Montreal.
Inside and outside frames clamp together so there are no fasteners into the structure.
I'm extremely pleased with them or I wouldn't have used them on three boats over the last 20 years.

The Wynne windows are the clamp type too...pretty slick
