Which battery for the dink?

We have an 11-ft Bluewater Baby with a Suzuki DF20 4 stroke, electric start, tilt & trim. The only additional load would be a small fish finder and very occasionally running lights. Minimum specs for a battery per the manual are 330 cold cranking amps and 35 AH. So-called combination start/deep-cycle batteries are acceptable.

I’d like to keep the weight as light as possible while meeting at least the minimum specs. (The Zuke also has a pull start for emergencies so getting stranded isn’t a great worry.). If you have a similar setup, what battery type/group size do you use?

I would look at a Lithium battery. We put LiFePO4 batteries in our last boat. They were more of a deep cycle but at 105 AH they only weighed 23 pounds. There must be something out there that will meet your needs and be really lightweight.
