A couple of quick questions re this Jensen Marine build (1973 - 1976):

1. What material was used for tanks?
2. Is there a "questimate" of longevity before replacement is needed?

Thanks.

here are some pictures of my old and new tanks. Jim

The old tanks were replaced when new motors were installed.
Original tanks were 33 years old. Thought I'd replace them while
I was at it.

Those tanks are cold rolled steel. They usually last between 39 and 40 years, then fail either on the tops or bottoms.
