Stabilizer maintenance

Can any KK 39 or 42 owners give me an idea as to what regular maintenance of the hydraulic stabilizers involves , and what the cost of that maintenance is ?

I was quoted about a grand for seal replacement, which was the preventative maintenance recommended for the Wesmar stabilizers on the boat

My Naiads are due for seal replacement, a 3 yearly maintenance item. Estimate is under A$1000, to be done in mid January.

I had mine done earlier this year. Here is the cost breakdown from my invoice. $784.

03/21/16 Labor 540.00

Set up and press port and starboard fins from
boat. Disassemble glands, clean out old sealer,
and install new seals. Rehang stabilizer fins,
torque, and install new plugs.
