GB42 Water tanks

I have GB42 #1386 with 2 fresh water tanks.
Do these tanks self balance and do I need to switch from one tank to the other?

If your tanks are mounted to the transom in the lazarette, like our #966, pull all your "stuff" out of the laz. You'll see each tank, at the bottom, has a gate valve. Open both gate valves to allow the tanks to equalize. We have had our valves in this configuration for the last 14 years!

There is probably a shut-off valve for each tank feeding to a supply line; so if both are open, they self-level.
