GB 32 1978 replace tank

Hi guys,

I still can not get on the GB forum...
Would like to make an offer on the boat but would really like to have a ball park number for cost of a new tank or tanks.
Does anyone have a very ball park number for getting close to 250 gallon tank or tanks?
Thanks,
Tim

I replaced both of my 300-gallon tanks last May. I have a GB42. My total cost was just shy of $19,000.

If you do most of the work yourself, cutting up and removing the old tanks and installing the new ones it will run 8 to 10k. If you plan well it is possible to install new one piece tanks with slightly less capacity. A 32 runs a very long time on 200gal of fuel.

Yes, the plan was to cut the heck out of the tank and remove myself. The broker indicated there was only one tank. Is this not the case?

Usually a GB32 had two 120-gallon fuel tanks. Maybe your broker is indicating that only one of the tanks is leaking (???).
