Currently I am using as a primary anchor a Rocna Vulcan 55kg which works great. As a back up anchor I have either a CQR 60lb or a Rear Bruce 30Kg (66lb) as a choice. I have used the Bruce but have no experience with the CQR. So the question based up your experience which of the two would be a better choice. Either would be set up with 25ft of 3/8 G4 chain and 400 ft or 1 inch rode. History the boat used the Bruce before being replace with the Vulcan.
