I didn't read the thread but Rodney Thompson built a bunch of Commercial fishing trawlers and a hanful of pleasure boats on the same hull. They were constructed in Titusville, Fla in the 80,s (maybe earlier too). Heavy duty layup to commercial standards. Lots of them had twin 4-71's. Superb seaboats, hard chine, the fisherman loved them. Not so pretty lines as a yacht but really well built, simple and dependable.
