Does anyone have any experience with this brand can't seem to find much information on them. I assume they're a Taiwan built boat.

The HIN decoder says this:

PYZ = Present Yachts Inc (Out of Business)
00014 = Boat Serial Number
10 = Month of Manufacture October
81 = Production Year 1981

That is more information than many Taiwanese trawlers have in their HIN. From this you know that Present produced at least a few others. Your survey will tell you if there is much wrong with this one.

Present yacht

If you Google present yachts you will see that a gentlemen who owned a few stores in Rochester ny started importing boats himself because he thought there was too much of a markup on the price. I have an Oceania 35 imported by present. Attached is a picture , the insides look identical but mine is a single Perkins.up for sale in sept/oct when we finish the loop..
