Looking at a yacht, a carver 360 mariner. Could I get an estimate to ship it over land from jacksonville to panama city,264 mi.I am told that removal of the radar arch will get me under the ht. minimum.

Have you thought of having a captain drive it over? I can recommend a good captain that knows those waters

For an estimate, I’d contact a boat transport company based in Florida. You should give them the width, length and height. Pictures out of the water of the boat would help. Weight is not an issue since they will gross out on size.

We’ve moved a couple of boats over land. Cost was about the same as moving them on their own bottoms but it was easier with no surprises plus a lot less stressful.

No surprises, except when this happens…

If all you need to do is remove the radar arch then trucking with a boat transport company is probably the most economical solution.

If it requires the removal of a flybridge, then transporting her on her own bottom will be the most economical way to transport.
