For all you 430 owners...


What AC units do you have on your boat and what is the BTU?


There's nothing in the owners manual, and in my files I have a MarineAir owners manual and a Dometic manual... but no details.


And another related question. The manual shows two vent line for AC in the salon, one by the port door, but for the life of me, can't find the other. Looks like it's somewhere around the door.

I have the same units and manual and there is no mention of BTU's. The second outlet for the salon unit is right above the unit, at the same level as the Corian countertop. Let me know if you need pictures. According to the diagrams that came with the boat, it looks like there is an outlet from the forward cabin unit that comes out next to the refrigerator. I have a vent there, but nothing comes out of it. Also, the ducting from the aft cabin unit to the vent beside the closet was never installed. I added that.
