For overland shipping purposes I am trying to find the overall maximum keel to rooftop measurement of a Mainship 390 after the flybridge, railings and mast have been removed.

Post moved from "How To Use The Forum, Site News & Account Concerns" to "Marlow-Mainship" sub-forum.

Draft is 3'8" according to the "Powerboat Guide". Measure from the waterline to the mounting plate of the rail stanchion and add 3'8".

390 Height

Thanks correcting my post. New to blogging. Also thanks for the info. 1" can make a BIG difference in shipping costs if the overall height of the trailer load exceeds 14' so would need to know exactly where the waterline should normally start/end to use that method, bottom of the boot maybe?
Thanks again

Use a long level on the gunnel and use a plumb bob to measure to the waterline.
Then measure the upper part of the boat and do the addition.

Thanks for the level advice. Now I just need to figure out the manufacturers intended waterline location as opposed to the current loaded and 20 year water logged (I hope not too much) actual float line. Or, if someone knows of a 390 currently on the hard?
