Mainship build quality - 2005

My 34T had a propane locker on the flybridge that held a 10# aluminum bottle. I decided to replace that and a pedestal table with a "summer kitchen", an OEM option I believe. After removing the locker, I noted that the hole for routing propane to the galley and the wiring for the solenoid was not sealed properly, allowing water to enter the void. This will no doubt cause me pain down the road. Now that you know, you may wish to run a bead of butyl around the base of your locker.

My Mainship build quality story... 1981 Mainship 34 Mark I... Portlight in the head began leaking. Pulled it to rebed. Found it to have been "bedded in" with double sided paper tape. A serviceable old boat, but with issues.
