MS34 pilot - cockpit drain solution

Here's what I did for the cockpit of my 2007 MS 34 Pilot -
scupper hold a screen - the screen lifts out for cleaning.
drain hose runs at slight angle down, straight to thru-hull, protected by a valve.

picture is off kilter but I am tired of fighting with TF user interface...
anyway, this is near the stern door. pouring deluge of rain on Friday and I had the joy of watching it drain perfectly.
