2005 MS-400: Center Opening Windshield Gasket

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with parts/procedure for replacing the gasket on the center, opening windshield (in the salon above the stairs)? Mine is shot and needs replacement. I'm not sure who made the windows. Any info would be a big help.

I'll do some research. Had the 400 for 3 years and upgraded to a 430, but a former owner (not the last one), sealed the window shut


So that's on my project list and will certainly need a gasket. Have thought about making one, like with the Permatex products or such. Would be a lot of careful taping off and trimming, but could be a better seal. And getting up around the top will be a bitch without taking the window off... something I'd rather not do.

I haven't opened mine for a few years. If I come up with a solution I will post here. Please let me know if you make any progress. I'm still hopeful someone on the forum has dealt with it, but I will continue to research as well.

My yard used this and said the install was no prob. I can't vouch for how well it works until some time goes by:

That looks awful thick and that 1/4 in would most like have to squeeze down a LOT. BUT, when I get my window open, I'll comment....
