Curious what seas Jefferson owners are comfortable with. Just moved ports from Gulf to Atlantic side and much different conditions.

What matters is what YOU are comfortable with. Get out there and see. Plus a Jefferson 57, for instance is going to be a different story that a 42. Not to mention they had a variety of designs and hull forms.

In my experience with numerous boats. The boat will handle way more than you are comfortable with.

I think a 42 foot Jefferson should handle between 6 and 7 footers. Better have everything ship shape though.
