Some Improvements

Have been working on the foredeck and cockpit, as well as the cap rails and bowsprit. Mostly cosmetic work (will not be dealing with the soft deck areas until next winter) - but cosmetically she’s looking a little better than she did……

Looks good, what's next if anything? Varnish, oil, cetol, nothing?
Some people rave about Awlwood, but I don't personally know of anyone with first-hand experience.

Used TotalBoat polyurethane paints - 2 coats of light gray non-skid on deck areas and off-white topside paint for the fwd gunwales. Cap rails are sanded and then 2 coats of teak sealer - then Cetol on the bowsprit. Just a start - rest of gunwales, all of cabin sides, cabin window frames, and the fly bridge, etc, still to do. And that’s just the cosmetics…. Two more years minimum….

You'll have a very nice boat when you get some of the big projects done. It's good to see you're being realistic about the timeframe for repair. I feel some are overly optimistic when it comes to repair time estimates and overlook the can-o-worms factor.
