We have a MT34 with the original Syten helms which we have been nursing along. I need to add hydraulic fluid to the helms but you can't buy the fluid they recommend (no longer manufatured). Would the Sea Start helm fluid be an acceptable replacement? I thought it would be but wondered if anyone else had experience/recommendations.

YES, Syten, Seastar, Teleflex, all same same. All same manufacturer, same light oil systems.
