A very clean and white cloth dampened with Hydrogen peroxide.. turn often, you will see the grime come off on the cloth..>>>Dan

Try to blot more than scrub. Like a carpet stain or a wine stain on upholstery. Takes long but works better in my experience. We have used Dawn as well as hydrogen peroxide. Amazing how much the Dawn cleans up. Not sure what GB used for the headliner fabric but ours is 35 years old and looks brand new.

My wife uses OxyClean on the fabric headliner. It works well.

409 with bleach. You will be amazed how white it can be.

Dawn dish soap and a wee bit of bleach works well too.
