Greetings....Again

Been lurking since we sold our 34 Californian 5 years ago. Just took possession of a 1981 36 Prairie we found in Stockton, Ca. Spent the last 2 weeks getting her ready for the trip to San Diego, and still have a lot of to do. Hope to clear the Golden Gate by September 1. Mechanically sound twin 85hp Perkins w/1750 hrs and all new tanks. New Garmin 942xs plus package to go in this week, by me, as the professionals are months out.
Any advise/comments from this knowledgeable community is greatly appreciated.
