What's with "six" and me?

My boating experience is principally based on three different boats.

My Dad's Columbia Defender (flush-deck, 28.5-foot sloop) was hull #60 which we extensively raced in San Francisco Bay in the 1960s.

My 24-foot Bluewater Blackwatch pocket cutter was hull #60, mostly sailed in Suisun Bay in the 1980s.

My current (acquired in 2011) 35-foot trawler is hull #6.

I prefer to see the symmetry of "60606." Contains lots of circles. Don't the Chinese consider that a "good luck" signal?
