Just read the rules that will apply to land and air entry after Aug 9. (If Aug 9 actually happens given Delta and strikes). You will need a PCR test within 72 hours of entry. You will need a second test at entry. There is talk of going to the tent in the airport or at the border to get this test. Internet access required and it sounds like a Fedex dropoff is needed for the home test kit, not clear at all how you get the kit or how it is done.

I'm guessing the infrastructure needed to do this at the more remote (and usual) yacht entry points is going to be slow coming. Practically, getting a PCR test done in a US port of departure, getting the results back, and then getting to an entry port in Canada is already a little time pressed.

I have planned a trip up early September but my hopes are waning that it will be practical.
