Surveyor suggestion, Traverse City MI area

Greetings all,

Have an accepted offer on a boat, a 2001 Mainship 390.

Now the work begins! I'm heading up myself to do an inspection in a few days, but looking to book a proper survey soon.

Anyone have any experience with anyone in the Traverse City, MI area?

Congrats on the offer, hope it works out for you. You might call your insurance company and see if they have any recommendations. You will need them to accept the surveyor anyway. Good luck.

Give Irish Boat Shop in Harbor Springs or Charlevoix a call. Same with Walstrom Marine in Harbor Springs. Talk to the sales folks. Both businesses are long-established and very reputable brokerages and/or new boat stores.

They should be happy to provide a few references, as a good broker knows you may hire them to sell your boat in the future, send them your friends, etc.
