Glad to find this great forum. We are long time boaters, fairly new cruisers although my parents were cruisers on the Ohio River growing up in the 60’s snd 70’s. We plan to do the loop two years from now when our youngest graduates from high school (we have three older daughters from 31 down). Plans for the coming summer include a trip up the Ohio to Ironton, OH (should take about a month) from Nashville as well as a trip to Florence, AL on the TN River. This past summer we did a great 8 day trip from Nashville up the Cumberland River to Celina, TN to the end of the River. Highly recommend that beautiful trip.
We are at the Commodore Yacht Club and get out on the River most weekends. If you make it around, give us a shout!
