I trolled the web unsuccessfully looking for an Ash 34. Couldn't find a word about them. Now I've found one for sale. Unfortunately it's going to have to be bought by someone other than me.
Once I found the advert I found a 2014/15 thread on TF about a big sister 38
foot model where the 34 was mentioned. How did I hear of an Ash 34? I helped build one of them. It was great seeing her come together and sad that ill health stopped production of more. I spent hours fairing the hull on the last one, it was going to be used for a plug to start production of fiberglass hulls.
Ash is the name of the boatyard, named after the original yard owner, Aubrey Ash. He was out of the picture by the time these were being built. The builder was renting the yard and as I recall, thought Ash would be a good name for them.
