FL 120 question

I was checking my FL120 with the laser temp and found that the bottom of the exhaust manifold at the back of the engine was very hot, 350+ degrees. The top of the manifold was 120 degrees. Is this normal?

Near the exhaust outlet from the head versus where it is water cooled, yes on my engine

And each area gets a bit warmer as you move aft..
