my windlass has worked great all season until yesterday . when I tried to raise anchor it was slow and then it would just click on either up or down position. can anybody help me. it has switches on bow deck and in wheel house. I ended up pulling anchor by hand. boat was running and batteries were up.

Check all wiring connections. I have the same windlass and had the same problem. It turned out to be a loose connection. It was OK to pass voltage but no amperage to speak of. I tightened it up and everything was OK.
