[High Wire]

Reported on the news yesterday, a house was knocked off its pilings into the NJ ICW just north of the Grassy Sound Bridge in North Wildwood NJ. Today is day 4 of 5 of this storm with winds 30 to 50 knots. Lots of debris floating around from decks, docks, and damaged boats, etc.

We left Wednesday night. Have been anchored up the Hudson since. Looks like we can come back to our dock late tonight.

Going up the Hudson worked out very well. Found good spots to anchor. Probably should have stayed up river one more night, but we are back and tied to our pier.

The house in post #1 has settled into the marsh in Old Turtle Thorofare SW of the bridge and is no longer in the ICW (nearest marker is G 441).
