I got am email off the CHB group and have cut and pasted for you all to read and comment on:

I was able to stop the leak completely by wrapping the tube with rescue
tape and then smearing stay afloat all over. If you don't know about stay
afloat (which I didn't) It's really an incredible product. We'll never leave
the dock without a tub aboard again www.stayafloatmarine.com.

Are any of you familiar with this "stayafloat" stuff or have experience with.* I watched the video and it looked like something any boater would want to have on hand.

Looks interesting. A couple of alternatives I keep on board for the same use: A wax toilet bowl ring and a block of that electricians putty that they use to seal openings.
