Between the storms

We took a day trip to Bainbridge Island Friday before the gale hit Saturday. Very calm and we were lucky to find space on the public dock. After a nice lunch at the pub we returned to Seattle. Perfect.

There's something magical about being on the water on a fall day when it's overcast, rainy and few other boats out. Being in a nice, warm cabin on a day like that is special.
