Splendide W/D error codes

My Splendide W/D has been acting up. The dial where you select the cycle will start clicking around and around and the machine stops at whatever point it's at.* I called the mfg and they let me know that the internal diagnostics of the machine do that when it detects an error. Sounds like a computer, eh? Anyway, when it's doing this, the red light on the*right will blink to give you the error code. There will be a long pause, then it will blink in sequence some number. Mine was giving me a 5 and a 13. The 13 indicated an overheat during the dry cycle. I was behind in my annual cleaning of the dryer exhaust hose and it was clogged about 50% at the bottom bend. The five shows the pump is not working as well as it should. I took out the "filter" plug and there wasn't really anything in there but a little crud. It's meant to catch paper clips, etc. Just an FYI to get these error numbers before you call tech support.
