COLUMBIA RIVER AND SNAKE RIVER - Summer Seasonal Lockage Schedule for Recreational Craft
The USACE Portland and Walla Walla Districts, are implementing the summer seasonal lockage schedule, which is effective from 15 May 14 to 15 Sep 14, for the passage of recreational craft through the navigation locks. When a recreational vessel lockage schedule is in effect, recreational vessels will only be allowed to lock through at the times designated, and during these times, they will take precedence over commercial vessels. At all other times, commercial vessels will continue to have lockage precedence over recreational vessels. Recreational vessels may be allowed to lock through with commercial vessels at the discretion of the lock operator. For the lockage schedule and additional information, visit Portland’s website at: http://www.nwp.usace.army.mil/Missions/Navigation.aspx, and Walla Walla’s at: http://www.nww.usace.army.mil/Missions/Navigation.aspx, or contact the Operations Division at Portland (503) 808-4332, or Walla Walla (509)
