    Hi Scott,
I was searching the archives, and saw that you had replaced your Velvet Drive transmission a few years ago. My 2.1:1 VD transmission on a Ford Lehman 120 needs to be rebuilt because it leaks all the fluid in 5 minutes of running. I made the mistake of adding Seallube to rejuvenate the seals, and I think Seallube destroyed them.
Question that I have is how do you separate the transmission from the bell housing? I imagine it is firmly stuck in place after 40 years. Did you have to jack them apart?
I am planning on fashioning a saw horse in place to suspend the transmission to alleviate the weigh. Then build a jig so a pair of hydraulic jacks can be used to push the transmission away from the bell housing. Is there a less painful way?

Greeting- Purchased a 30dt yesterday. Looking for information on installations when your post regarding location. A question: The dealer seemed to stress the need for one of the air inlets to be fed fresh air. Our boat configuration really doesn't have a "friendly" location outside of going through the hull with a dedicated inlet like an engine room air intake. It appears that you have configured a filter system within your pilot seat that uses cabin air for both air inlets. If this is the case, how does it differ from having outside air, if you have thoughts? My current Espar, which is being replaced, has one air inlet and that is cabin air. The resulting hear is sufficent. I understand that there is two different processess involved between the two manufactures.
Anticipating your good response, I remain,
    Al
