    Thanks for the response. I want to use the Phifertex(sp/) fabric not solid so I'm hoping its not as much of a wind catcher. We have lots of cruising stuff on our bridge and its a bit unsightly at times. The port door sounds great. i love this dish rinse!If you have photos of this winters work I'd enjoy seeing them. David

    Hi David - The previous owner had drilled the stanchions and used the screw style snaps. Not an easy task! I actually have removed this canvas and do not use. It seems to be a wind / dirt catch and vision inhibitor. Not sure the advantage.

    I am now in Deep River Ct., I did a tremendous amount of work to her over the winter and will be posting the work at one point.

    The Port door is awesome, especially if you like to bow in. You can walk onto the boat effortlessly. It works well at mooring also.. great view when you leave it open, useful to load and unload dingy, and of course a quick dip rinse of the dishes before washing lol.
