So making progress on my to-do list.

Thought I would poke at the non-functioning cable reel. Look up and...wow this is not going to be easy access-wise. Look down and realize the stop cable had parted. Look back up and there is a fuse.

Nah. Can it be this easy? Never that easy.

Remove and replace fuse (had it in my electronics bin!). Re-attach safety chain.

Try it. Nope. Not surprised. Never that easy.

Wait...I do believe there is a separate breaker of which I never paid attention to for obvious reasons.

Flip breaker on. Go out side to test. With about a second delay...Voila! A fuse replacement was all it needed.

Sometimes its the little things that makes ya smile.

Now on to the non-functioning Glendinning synchronizer...

Gotta love an easy fix every now and then…

With the synchronizer, I am going to guess that you have a break in the cable between the engine and the synchronizer. Most likely one of the ears in the cable has broken off. In my set up there is a 1” length that goes from the engine to a mechanical/electrical adapter then I have a 20’ length of cable that goes to the glendening. I have suffered failures in both sections on both engines. Very simple fix.
