Yea, not a bad idea to carry a spare. Have you had any problems with water coming in from the bridge area? I calked the heck out of things but still not solved the problem. Course I live in Oregon where it rains sideways a lot. ��

Thanks to all the replies. I found it next to the hot water tank on the port side. It was fried. Friend of mine had a used one. Installed it, now off to the races again.
